Normal Sheepskin Boots stand at about 10 inches high - up to mid calf. Our high-tops stand about 5 inches higher. (depending on the size).

Because of the growth in sales of sheepskin boots world wide, there are many cheaper copy cat boots now available using second grade sheepskin, inferior and dangerous Polyurethane plastic soles, and cost cutting shortcuts in materials and workmanship. Polyurethane soles, used by those making cheap imitations of our boots, are dangerous when wet as they are so slippery, they are a shiny plastic that looks cheap and will crack and break. Our sheepskin boots have pure rubber soles and have the very best traction available and will last for many years. Chinese made boots: you will not be happy with these, there is very little quality control in workmanship or materials- and you will need to replace them before a single season. The sheepskins used in China are second grade as they have to buy them from New Zealand or Australia anyway, and they never pay for the best. Please be assured of our expertise and highest quality. ConstructionThe rubber sole is lightweight yet provides traction in wet, snow and slippery conditions. A heat refelctive film is inserted above the sole to retain heat. The 5/8 inch thick shearling wool inside moulds to the shape of your foot creating natural arch support.Each boot has a removable innersole made with a rubber molded bootbed and lambskin. These can be removed to dry or replaced easily. Our boots have a reinforced heel, both inside and outside to keep them upright and not go floppy. The soft wool fibres of natural wool acts as a natural insulator to keep your feet warm and comfortable. Wool is breathable, wicking moisture away keeping your feet dry and cosy. Rubber sole is best for non slip and extra bouncy comfort WaterproofingSheepskin Boots are naturally water resistant. They're made in New Zealand where we get a lot of rainfall and understand about getting wet. We supply a spray conditioner which will help waterproof your boots if further protection is needed.

Rinse them off and keep them inside away from the heat while they dry. Give them a good hard brushing when they're dry to bring back the natural suede finish. We supply special sheepskin shampoo and waterproofing spray in our shop. Boot SizingBoot sizes run large and in full sizes so best to down a half size if you are in between.
